HM Sailing is a coaching company that offers customised coaching solutions to Sailing Clubs and private clientele. Our services range from group training programs, hosted out of local Sailing Clubs to regular private sessions with sailors looking to cement the basics or excel in competition. Our staff strive to provide a holistic service for your sailing needs, whatever they may be.
The seed for HM Sailing was planted a few years before its inception, with founder Harry Morton teaching Learn to Sail and leading the odd coaching session in his spare time whilst still competing himself. Harry holds three World Championships as a double 29er World Champion and Junior Contender World Champion. After his junior career, he moved into the 49er class where he was a part of the Australian Sailing Squad. While competing on the Olympic circuit, Harry also competed in the Super Foiler Grand Prix, Redbull Foiling Generation and various match racing and yachting events. His extensive sailing knowledge filters through the company to a base of coaches looking to provide sailors with opportunities to reach goals just as Harry has.
HM Sailing was formally launched in 2017, whilst Harry was working with various Youth State Squad and National teams. Harry has since worked as NSWIS Sailing Head Coach and coached teams to success at National and International Championships.
Now, HM Sailing continues to grow with over 6 staff across 5 Sailing Clubs in NSW. Our staff base consists of a variety of skilled and accomplished coaches with their own sailing achievements in respective classes. HM Sailing coaches translate their experience and passion for the sport into their methodologies to coach sailors of all levels, including development to elite level sailing.
