HM Sailing provides customised, class centred programs to Sailing Clubs with the aim of developing the fleet level, participation numbers and building pathway support. Our Program service includes training schedules, holistic coach support, consistent club and sailor communication, structured program outlines and additional off water support. HM Sailing Programs create a connective club culture in which sailors progress as individuals and team members in the wider club community.
HM Sailing offers the following services within all our Programs:
- Quality and specifically suited coach support both on and off the water
- Organisation and development of coaches
- On water support – Structured program outlines adapted to sailor progress, consistent coach support, skill (and potential) based fleets including Development, Intermediate, Advanced
- Off water support – Brief and debrief notes, regular sailor reports and one-on-one opportunities with coaches
- Communication and logistics – Scheduled term calendars, consistent contact with sailors and parents and organisation and development of coaches, registration, attendance records and booking.
- Additional support – Boat maintenance and repair, goal setting and review, winter online zoom programs, regatta support and pathway advice
Where required HM Sailing Programs can be diversified into skill levels to ensure sailors are receiving accurate coaching:
- Development – sailors at an entry level with a basic understanding
- Intermediate – sailors understand and can execute basic skills and concepts
- Advanced – sailors are competitive and are highly competent at skills and concepts of the class
HM Sailing provides a curriculum for each skill level to assist sailors with direction in their overall progression. Coaches are assigned to appropriately match the skill level of sailors to ensure they are equipped to coach at the highest quality.
Programs are priced according to skill level, ascending from Development to Advanced.
